PUBLISHED WORK

The Music Spot Magazine
 Music Journalist ( May 2014-present )

I have started working for The Music Spot in May 2014, I have great passion in writing about music. My job entitles me to search for music talent and arrange potential interviews. I am also given a chance to travel various parts of the UK to interview music artists. The editor and creator of the magazine also gives me reviews to write ready to publish on the website. I also have to research songwriters in order to understand their personal background and music background ready for a potential interview.

The challenges that I have are deadline dates but I have used some journalistic professionalism in order to keep on ball with everything. The other challenge I face is reviewing or researching a particular genre of music I don't listen to, apart from the challenges, it's quite intriguing. I am enjoying every moment working in music journalism and I am looking forward to what happens next.

In July I have also arranged press tickets  for one of the biggest festivals in the UK called Global Gathering. I am also pleased to know that my article I wrote on the band The 1975 have gained nearly 2,000 views in just two months. I am so grateful to be part of the magazine and hope it continues to expand and grow.

 DIY Magazine
Film Journalist

'Her' Film Review ( February 13th 2014 )

I was given an opportunity to write for London based independent magazine DIY Magazine. The magazine covers a variety of themes in order to target a wide audience. I was asked to write a feature review on Golden Globe winning film 'Her' and also  Joaquin Phoenix top films in his career. My work was then later published onto the DIY Magazine website, I really can't express how honored I am to have had my work published.
